A reminder that I actually do have to do some work while I'm here.
Though it's not much compared to what I'm used to.
It's annoying that I have to go to class on Saturday, but the fact that I have no class on Thursday and only one on Tuesday means I will probably have plenty of time for day trips around Tokyo.
Also, JPTR stands for Modern Japanese in Translation and Foreign Policy is actually Japan's Foreign Policy.
I've been really sick since Sunday, so I was not able to go hiking as planned and there will be no cool hiking blog post. BUT on a positive note I finally figured out where I will be going for Golden Week (April 30-May 7)!

I bought my ticket last night. I haven't figured out all the details yet, but I will soon.

ReplyDeleteMy dad was stationed in Okinawa when I was a baby. I have a cool, old certificate of thanks given by the local government when the USAF helped out with some power generators or something. I'll scan and post somewhere. Glad you're feeling better and posting more cool stuff.
