Golden Week in Okinawa: Part Three

After two days in Naha we took a ferry to Zamami Island and stayed there for 5 days. This is a picture of one of the many islands I saw from the ferry. I got a sunburn after the first day (of course) and the island was so small you could walk to all the important places in under 20 minutes, but it was fun.

Views from the ferry looking back at the port in Naha.

After about forty-five minutes on the ferry, we stopped at Aka Port before continuing on to Zamami Island.

So once we arrived in Zamami, we made our way to the little condo/apartment thing we stayed at. There were two rooms with a shared common room/kitchen and a bathroom with multiple showers and a washer and dryer. The roof was also really cool because it had a table, chairs and a bathtub. Didn't use the bathtub though.

My next post will include some beachy pictures from around Zamami.

    1. No, the underwater cameras that they sold in some shops could only be used for snorkeling because the pressure gets too high as you go deeper in the water to scuba dive. We were hoping that the scuba diving place would have cameras or that they would take pictures we could buy, but they didn't.
