Last weekend I went to the annual baseball game between Waseda and Keio. Keio is Waseda's rival, so there were a ton of people at the game and everyone was really excited.
It was a really hot day and by the time we got to the stadium there were literally no seats left. We sat on the stairs next to the bleachers, awkwardly trying to stay out of the way of the people walking up the steps next to us.
Everyone had these Waseda fans, and the guy up front is actually a male cheerleader leading everyone in chants.
Don't worry, there were female cheerleaders too. Actually the cheering was so intense that I had a hard time focusing on the baseball game. I probably would have had a hard time anyway though, because I don't actually know the rules of baseball. And it was freaking hot.
